Course Descriptions
The Principles of Prayer
This course offers the student the foundational teaching necessary for an effective and powerful prayer life. The student will learn his rights and privileges as a believer to approach the throne room for the will of God in his life and in the life of others. It is my desire that a longing is ignited within each student for the presence or God and a desire for sweet communion with our Lord and oneness with the Holy Spirit. I desire to impart to each student a passion for prayer.
Developing the Fruit of the Spirit in your Life
This course will challenge the student to walk in the fruit of the Spirit and allow it to flow out of their life. The fruit is born into to us at conversion and we must learn to develop it. This course will increase the students understanding of love, joy, peace, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control and how to develop them in their life.
The Holy Spirit and His Gifts
This course is designed to give the student an understanding of the purpose and the operation of the Holy Spirit in the Church and in the believer’s life. We will also gain understanding into the gifts of the Holy Spirit and their function in the body of Christ.
Divine Healing
This class is designed to teach the student the truth about healing for today. The truths taught in this class will give the student a strong foundation for healing in his/her ministry and along with the prayer of faith enable him/her to believe God for healing in their lives and the lives they minister too.
Passion for Holiness
Students will receive an understanding God’s meaning of true holiness. Students will receive a hunger for holiness and learn how to pursuit it.
The Father’s Heart of God
This class gives students the revelation of the God’s desire to restore our relationship with Him as our Father and to help students remove any obstacles, ungodly beliefs, and hurts that would keep them from seeing God as their perfect Father. This class is about taking hold of the deepest love that you will ever experience and never letting go.
Principles of Leadership 101
Students will learn the basic leadership principles that were exemplified by Jesus for the ministry and how to implement them in their lives.
Outreach Ministry 101
This class imparts the heart of the Father and the vision of how Christ intended the church to look, act and feel. The call of the Great Commission is all imparted into the hearts of the students and the importance of humility and serving in ministry. The students are also instructed in practical ways to reach out in their community and how to lead outreaches through various projects during the quarter.
Divine Finances
Students learn Godly principles for financial success, what it really means to live by faith in dealing with finances, and how to raise financial support for ministry the right way.
MCIS (Ministry Computer Information Systems)
Computer terminology, hardware, software, operating systems and information systems relating to the ministry environment. The main focus of this course is on ministry applications of software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation graphics and ministry utilization of the internet.
Children’s Ministry
This course will give the student some practical, “hands on” tools for ministering to children and a new way of looking at children and the way we minister to them. It will include praise and worship, puppets, disciplining children, and how to train children to be ministers of the gospel.
Old Testament Survey
The purpose of this course is to give the student a book-by-book overview of the Old Testament and highlight events form each book. At the completion of this course, the student will have a greater understanding of the Old Testament and an ability to do more in-depth study on his/her own.
New Testament
The New Testament’s books are studied from the historical, economical, political and religious setting of the early church. This survey gives the student an overview of the 27 New Testament books.
Tabernacle of Moses
This study will teach the student about the Tabernacle of Moses and how God told Moses how to build it. This is an in-depth study of symbolism and typology of each part of the tabernacle and how it applies to our lives today.
