River of Life is a non-denominational school of the Bible. The emphasis is on developing the student's relationship with God and helping him/her to find and fulfill His destiny for their life. The School of Ministry is intended to train men and women, lay people and ministers to do the work of God and to help them train others to do the same. The objective of training is worldwide evangelism, practical, disciplined, Christ-like lifestyles, and developing relationships with both God and man according to Biblical standards.

To accomplish this purpose, the following methods will be used:

Balanced Teachings

Every class is prayerfully chosen and prepared to give students a well rounded understanding of the Word of God. We believe that each class is to help the student in everyday living. It is not enough to just have "book knowledge" but the Word of God should be applicable to our lives today so that we can share it with others. It is our prayer that God's presence will rest on every class and that the Word of God will be empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual Breakthroughs

	The School of Ministry gives emphasis to the necessity of prayer and worship. We believe that ministry comes from the "overflow" of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We will help each student to experience those spiritual breakthroughs so that they may pour it out upon others.

Hands-on Training

We believe that students not only need teaching but they also need opportunities to "use" what God is giving them. Each student will be given a safe place to begin to operate in their gifting. Instructors are encouraged not only to teach, but also to help mentor students in their calling.

Affordable Costs

Many dedicated and promising ministers are unable to receive the necessary training because of the high cost of schooling. River of Life School of Ministry is committed to keep the costs at a reasonable price.
